The RASM Community Outreach Committee is hosting a School Supply Drive throughout the month of August, collecting donations at both RASM North and RASM South locations. Members are encouraged to donate school supplies and essential items to help local youth in foster care start the school year prepared and confident.

Requested donations include:

Crayons, markers, and colored pencils
Highlighters, Sharpies, and dry erase markers
Pens and pencils
Glue sticks and bottled glue
3-ring binders and pocket folders
Composition books and spiral notebooks
Pencil cases
Backpacks, lunchboxes, and water bottles

Additional high-need items include:

Socks and underwear for boys and girls
Jeans for boys and girls
Dental floss and toothbrushes
Body wash and deodorant for teen boys and girls
Acne products
Hairbrushes and combs

All donations will benefit The Twig, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and teens in foster care throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. Through educational support, everyday necessities, and programs designed to promote stability and success, The Twig helps ensure local youth have the resources they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

We encourage you to bring donations the next time you visit either RASM location for a networking or education event, or simply stop by to say hello and drop off supplies. Every donation, big or small, helps make a meaningful impact in the lives of local children and teens.
